Aconcagua summits!
It's been a very windy season on Aconcagua with few summits through the middle part of January. In fact we have been told there were not two consecutive "good" summit days all season! Jamie's team were able to sneak in a summit attempt on Monday 22 January, having held back at Camp 2 for an extra night, before moving up to Colera camp (camp 3) on Sunday. Well done to Triin and Andrei who topped out with Mariano. Also to Alex who reached a high point at the 'Cave' (6700m below the Canaleta) with Jamie before turning around. They are back in base camp (see photo) and will be travelling onwards to Mendoza today or tomorrow.
