A fast-paced, action-packed two-week expedition to climb two 5,000m peaks in the Karakoram
Introduction
Following a successful reconnaissance trip in 2023 we are adding this new expedition to the Jagged Globe Karakoram programme in 2024. This action packed trip adds to our growing list of shorter duration climbing expeditions to high-altitude peaks. Some of the wildest and most dramatic landscapes on earth are found in the vast, rugged Karakoram Range, situated in Northern Pakistan. Remote and spectacular, the icy peaks and vast glaciers of the Karakoram offer unparalleled opportunities for adventurous trekking and mountaineering.
Most well known Karakoram peaks require a long walk to Base Camp and therefore can only be climbed as part of a long duration expedition. We have found two peaks in dramatically different areas that can both be reached quickly and easily. This enables us to offer a 16 day UK to UK itinerary that shows the diversity of Karakoram landscapes and includes two exciting summits.

Tailor-made option
We can organise this expedition on a ‘tailor-made’ private basis for groups of friends, families, clubs, charities or any other group. Depending on your mountaineering experience, you may want a Jagged Globe leader or go ‘self-led’ with the assistance of local guides. The cost of going private can be surprisingly reasonable, particularly if you take the self-led option. Please contact us to discuss the itinerary and your preferred dates. We will then send you a quote, with no obligation.

You will need a travel insurance policy that caters for the activities you will undertake on your trip with Jagged Globe. It is a requirement of our booking conditions that you have such a policy.
